I am a graduate student at Pacific Lutheran University working towards my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My number one goal as a therapist will be to help you make the changes you wish to see in your life, whatever those may be. I have a lived understanding of what it means to be part of marginalized communities in America, along with the pain and pride which often accompanies that membership. I feel comfortable working with a diverse range of clients, including those from the LGBTQIA+ community. I see the value in multiple therapeutic perspectives, but I tend to feel drawn towards emotionally focused therapy, experiential therapy, and solution focused therapy. These types of therapies all value hope, relational bonds, and the strength of the human spirit. Those qualities are what drew me to therapy initially, and they will be my emphasis as I work with you.
I am genderfluid nonbinary (pronouns usually they/them, occasionally she/they), spiritual/agnostic, mixed race, and pansexual.
