I believe our lives are constructed within the many relationship connections we experience throughout the lifespan; and this is what fuels my passion to work with individuals, couples, and families at all ages and stages of life. Whether you are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, communication breakdowns, school/work difficulties, or family problems, I strive to support you in working towards a deeper understanding of yourself, your symptoms, & your relationships from a place of validation & empathy so that we can work towards the changes you seek.
My work as a Marriage & Family Therapy Associate is informed by a structural & narrative perspective of the many stories and relationships we are each a part of. This includes examining our current and past relationships, as well as our larger connection to community and society as a whole. Some of my personal connections include being married for 20 years, I have two teenage children and a couple of the sweetest dogs, I come from a blended family, and I view the world through a lens that promotes equity and inclusion. Clients have described me as down-to-earth, direct, compassionate & helpful.
