Hi folks! My name is Anna. I use they/them pronouns, and I identify as a white, transgender non-binary, neurodivergent lesbian. These identities deeply inform my practice as I am passionate about fostering an affirming and inclusive space for clients to explore their own unique and rich identities. And how these identities intersect to impact their lives and relationships.
Central to my approach as a systemic therapist is the creation of a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their memories and emotions without judgment. I have so much respect for my clients and their ability to be vulnerable and ask for help. I am an engaged therapist driven by curiosity, but I also am very patient and dedicated to adapting the pace and structure of therapy to what feels most comfortable for each client. I aim to work alongside clients, validating their difficult emotions, and empowering them with individualized tools and insights to feel secure in themselves and proud of who they are.
Outside of my role as a therapist, I am an artist, a friend, a sibling, and a nature-enthusiast! Despite living in the PNW my entire life, the beauty of our environment and community never gets old. I feel honored to wake up each day in absolute awe of the place I call home.
