I am currently a Marriage and Family Therapy student at Pacific Lutheran University. My respect for systemic therapy started long ago. It wasn't until my undergrad that I found the vocabulary for this way of experiencing the world. My passion for helping others nurture healthy, hardy connections is deeply rooted in my devotion to this work. I aim to help our community restore healthy relationships, one person, one couple, one family at a time.
The perspectives guiding my work are structural, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and emotion-focused. This means that it’s important for me to listen to you so I can understand your unique values. I utilize evidence-based interventions that have been rigorously researched to provide long-lasting systemic changes. Through these changes, I work to help clients relieve anxiety symptoms, teach emotional regulation skills, equip families with positive and affirming skills, and create healthy relationships with loved ones.
I seek to build relationships with every person I meet and have a warm, supportive, and sometimes humorous approach that allows feedback to flow in the therapy room. I look forward to working with you!
